Description
The Big Bluestem (Andropogon gerardii) is a decorative design element in the garden. The brown flower fronds adorn this grass from summer onwards. It feels most at home in a sunny location with well-drained, nutrient-rich soil. In favourable conditions, this hardy grass reaches a height of approx. 1.5 m and grows up to 60 cm wide.
