Description
The Kidney Vetch 'Coccinea' (Anthyllis vulneraria) is an upright perennial that produces red-orange flowers from May to June. Its lanceolate leaves are blue-green in colour. In a sunny to semi-shady location with well-drained, sandy, dry soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 40 cm and is approx. 30 cm wide. The Kidney Vetch 'Coccinea' is well tolerant of frost.
