Description
The Columbine (Aquilegia caerulea) is an upright perennial that produces bicoloured, bell-shaped flowers from May to June. Its pinnate, lobed leaves are dark green. In a sunny to semi-shady location with well-drained, humus-rich, loose, nutrient-rich soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 80 cm and is approx. 30 cm wide. The Columbine is well tolerant of frost.
