Description
The Granny´s bonnet 'Black Barlow' (Aquilegia vulgaris) is an upright perennial that forms black-red, bell-shaped flowers from May to July. Its lobed leaves are dark green. In a sunny to semi-shady location with well-drained, humus-rich, loose, nutrient-rich soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 70 cm and is approx. 30 cm wide. The Granny´s bonnet 'Black Barlow' is well tolerant of frost.
