Description
The Strawberry tree 'Mercurius' (Arbutus unedo) is a very popular, evergreen container plant whose bright red, round fruits have a mild flavour. Its white-pink flowers are bell-shaped and appear from September to November. The dark green leaves are lanceolate. The location should be as sunny as possible. Well-drained and moist to wet soil is ideal. Under favourable conditions, the Strawberry tree 'Mercurius' reaches a height of approx. 70 cm and grows up to 70 cm wide.
