Description
The Great thrift 'Ballerina Purple Rose' (Armeria pseudarmeria) is a clump-forming, cushion-forming, winter-green perennial that produces magenta-coloured, ball-shaped flowers from June to August. Its needle-shaped, lanceolate leaves are grey-green. In a sunny to semi-shady location with well-drained, nutrient-rich, sandy soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 25 cm and is approx. 25 cm wide. The Great thrift 'Ballerina Purple Rose' is well tolerant of frost.
