Description
The Black chokeberry (Aronia melanocarpa) produces black fruits. They are round and have a sweet and sour flavour. Well-drained, humus-rich, nutrient-rich, undemanding soil and a sunny to semi-shady location create the ideal conditions for a high-yielding harvest from September. Its white flowers are a beautiful sight. With its upright, runner-forming and multi-stemmed growth, the Black chokeberry grows to around 1.5 m high and 2 m wide.
