Description
The Purple chokeberry 'Viking' (Aronia x prunifolia) produces shiny, black, small fruits. They are round or flat and have a sweet flavour. Well-drained, humus-rich, nutrient-rich soil and a sunny to semi-shady location create the ideal conditions for a high-yielding harvest from September. Its white flowers are a beautiful sight. With its upright growth, the Purple chokeberry 'Viking' grows to around 1.5 m high and 2 m wide.
