Description
With its white-green leaf colouring, the Giant Reed 'Ely' (Arundo donax) is a decorative design element in the garden, which also stands out with its upright and runner-forming growth. The white flower plumes adorn this grass from summer onwards. It feels most at home in a sunny location with preferably sandy, loamy, moist to wet soil. In favourable conditions, this hardy grass reaches a height of approx. 1.6 m and grows up to 1.2 m wide.
