Description
The Tailed snakeroot (Asarum caudatum) is a creeping, rhizome-forming, evergreen perennial with decorative, heart-shaped, light-green leaves. From April to June, it bears greenish-brown, bell-shaped flowers. In a semi-shaded to shaded position with well-drained, dry soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 15 cm and spreads to approx. 25 cm. The Tailed snakeroot is highly frost-hardy.
