The Butterfly weed 'Hello Yellow' (Asclepias tuberosa) is an upright, clump-forming perennial that produces yellow, star-shaped flowers arranged in umbels with a pleasant fragrance from July to August. Decorative fruits develop from the flowers in September. Its lanceolate leaves are medium green in colour. In a sunny location with well-drained soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 90 cm and is approx. 60 cm wide. The Butterfly weed 'Hello Yellow' is well tolerant of frost.
