Description
The Pawpaw 'Sunflower' (Asimina triloba) is a pyramidal small tree or large shrub that produces dark red flowers with a pleasant fragrance. They appear from April to May. Green, oval fruits emerge from September. They are medium-sized and exude a pleasant fragrance. In a semi-shady location, it usually reaches a height of approx. 5 metres and grows to a width of approx. 1.2 metres. The Pawpaw 'Sunflower' makes no particular demands on the soil.
