Description
Liburne asphodel (Asphodeline liburnica) is a clump-forming, evergreen perennial that produces yellow, ray-shaped flowers arranged in clusters from May to June. Its linear leaves are blue-green. In a sunny to semi-shaded position with well-drained, humus-rich, nutrient-rich soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 1 m and spreads to approx. 40 cm. The Liburne asphodel is highly frost-hardy.
