Description
The Maidenhair spleenwort (Asplenium trichomanes) is a decorative design element in the garden with its feathery, medium green leaf fronds. The brown leaf stalks are an interesting detail. It feels most at home in a sunny to semi-shady location with well-drained, nutrient-rich soil. In favourable conditions, this hardy fern reaches a height of approx. 15 cm and grows up to 20 cm wide.
