Description
The Aster 'Ezo Murasaki' (Aster ageratoides) is an upright, roundish, winter-green perennial that produces dark purple, capitate flowers arranged in umbels with a pleasant fragrance from October to November. Its egg-shaped leaves are medium green in colour. In a sunny to semi-shady location with well-drained, nutrient-rich soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 60 cm and is approx. 50 cm wide. The Aster 'Ezo Murasaki' is well tolerant of frost.
