Description
The Aster 'Mönch' (Aster x frikartii) is an upright, fine-stemmed perennial that produces blue-violet, basket-shaped flowers with a pleasant fragrance from August to September. Its lanceolate leaves are medium green in colour. In a sunny location with well-drained, humus-rich, calcareous soil, it usually grows to a height of approx. 80 cm and is approx. 60 cm wide. The Aster 'Mönch' is well tolerant of frost.
