Description
The Glaucous Michaelmas daisy 'Blauschleier' (Aster laevis) is an upright, loose, branched perennial that produces light blue, basket-shaped flowers with a pleasant fragrance from August to October. Its lanceolate leaves are dark green in colour. In a sunny location with well-drained, nutrient-rich, loamy soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 1.3 m and grows to a width of approx. 60 cm. The Glaucous Michaelmas daisy 'Blauschleier' is well tolerant of frost.
