Description
The New England aster 'Marina Wolkonsky' (Aster novae-angliae) is an upright perennial that produces purple, basket-shaped flowers with a pleasant fragrance from September to October. Its lanceolate leaves are medium green in colour. In a sunny location with well-drained, humus-rich, nutrient-rich soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 90 cm and is approx. 50 cm wide. The New England aster 'Marina Wolkonsky' is well tolerant of frost.
