Description
The New England aster 'Purple Dome' (Aster novae-angliae) is an upright perennial that produces purple-red, basket-shaped flowers with a pleasant fragrance from September to October. Its lanceolate leaves are medium green in colour. In a sunny location with well-drained, humus-rich, nutrient-rich soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 70 cm and is approx. 60 cm wide. The New England aster 'Purple Dome' is well tolerant of frost.
