Description
The Aster 'Jindai' (Aster tataricus) is an upright perennial that produces lilac-coloured, basket-shaped flowers with a pleasant fragrance from September to November. Its lanceolate, toothed leaves are medium green. In a sunny location with well-drained, humus-rich, nutrient-rich soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 1.5 m and grows to a width of approx. 50 cm. The Aster 'Jindai' is well tolerant of frost.
