Description
The Aster 'Berggarten' (Aster tongolensis) is an upright, spreading perennial that produces blue-purple, basket-shaped flowers with a pleasant fragrance from May to June. Its lanceolate leaves are dark green. In a sunny location with well-drained, humus-rich, nutrient-rich soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 40 cm and is approx. 30 cm wide. The Aster 'Berggarten' is well tolerant of frost.
