Description
The Aster (Aster umbellatus) is an upright, runner-forming perennial that produces white flowers arranged in umbels with a pleasant fragrance from July to September. Its leaves are medium green. In a sunny to semi-shady location with well-drained, humus-rich, nutrient-rich soil, it usually grows to a height of approx. 1.6 m and is approx. 60 cm wide. The Aster is well tolerant of frost.
