Description
Astilbe 'Astary Red'® (Astilbe x arendsii) is an upright perennial that produces red flowers in panicles from July to September. Its pinnate leaves are dark green. In a semi-shaded to shaded position with lime-free, nutrient-rich soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 1 m and spreads to approx. 60 cm. The Astilbe 'Astary Red'® is highly frost-hardy.
