Description
The Astilbe 'Glut' (Astilbe x arendsii) is an upright perennial that forms carmine-red flowers arranged in panicles from July to September. Its pinnate leaves are dark green. In a semi-shady to shady location with lime-free, nutrient-rich soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 80 cm and is approx. 40 cm wide. The Astilbe 'Glut' is well tolerant of frost.
