Description
The False buck´s beard 'Washington' (Astilbe japonica) is an upright perennial that forms white flowers arranged in panicles from June to July. Its pinnate leaves are medium green. In a sunny to shady location with well-drained, humus-rich, nutrient-rich soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 60 cm and is approx. 40 cm wide. The False buck´s beard 'Washington' is well tolerant of frost.
