Description
The Masterwort (Astrantia bavarica) is a bushy, clump-forming perennial that produces pink-coloured flowers from July to August. Its palmate leaves are medium green in colour. In a sunny to semi-shady location with well-drained, humus-rich, nutrient-rich soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 40 cm and is approx. 30 cm wide. The Masterwort is well tolerant of frost.
