Description
The Masterwort 'Ruby Cloud' (Astrantia major) is an upright perennial that forms dark red, star-shaped flowers arranged in umbels from June to July. Its palmate leaves are medium green in colour. In a semi-shady location with well-drained, humus-rich, nutrient-rich soil, it usually grows to a height of approx. 40 cm and is approx. 30 cm wide. The Masterwort 'Ruby Cloud' is well tolerant of frost.

This helps the plant to survive periods of drought. - If the plants are cut back after flowering, they will sprout again and flower once more.
