Description
The Garten-Sterndolde 'Cerise Button' (Astrantia major) is an upright perennial that produces purplish-pink, star-shaped flowers arranged in umbels with a pleasant fragrance from June to August. Its palmate leaves are medium green in colour. In a semi-shady location with well-drained, humus-rich, nutrient-rich soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 60 cm and is approx. 50 cm wide. The Garten-Sterndolde 'Cerise Button' is well tolerant of frost.
