Description
The Masterwort 'Venice'® (Astrantia major) is an upright perennial that forms dark red, star-shaped flowers arranged in umbels from June to July. Its palmate leaves are medium green in colour. In a semi-shady location with well-drained, humus-rich, nutrient-rich soil, it usually grows to a height of approx. 60 cm and is approx. 45 cm wide. The Masterwort 'Venice'® is well tolerant of frost.
