Description
The Masterwort 'Star of Love'® (Astrantia major) is an upright perennial that forms dark red, star-shaped flowers arranged in umbels from June to August. Its palmate leaves are medium green in colour. In a semi-shady location with well-drained, humus-rich, nutrient-rich soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 50 cm and grows to a width of approx. 40 cm. The Masterwort 'Star of Love'® is well tolerant of frost.
