Description
The Aubretia 'Cascade Red' (Aubrieta x cultorum) is a hanging, evergreen perennial that produces red, wheel-shaped flowers from April to May. Its egg-shaped leaves are medium green in colour. In a sunny to semi-shady location with humus-rich, nutrient-rich soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 10 cm and grows to a width of approx. 40 cm. The Aubretia 'Cascade Red' is well tolerant of frost.
