Description
The Spotted laurel 'Golden King' (Aucuba japonica) is an upright, broad small shrub with decorative, red, round fruits. These are large. It produces inconspicuous flowers from April to May. The Spotted laurel 'Golden King' also has lanceolate, yellow-green leaves. In a semi-shady to shady, wind-protected location with well-drained, humus-rich, sandy, loamy soil, it usually reaches a height of around 2 metres and grows to a width of around 2 metres.
