The False indigo 'Twilite Prairieblues'® (Baptisia australis) is a bushy, upright perennial with decorative, lanceolate, grey-green leaves. From May to June, it bears multi-coloured, butterfly-shaped flowers arranged in umbels. In a sunny location with well-drained, nutrient-rich, sandy soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 1.2 metres and grows to a width of approx. 1 metre. The False indigo 'Twilite Prairieblues'® is well tolerant of frost.
