Description
The Box-leaved barberry 'Nana' (Berberis buxifolia) is a dense, compact, roundish dwarf shrub that produces golden yellow, bell-shaped flowers. They appear in May. The Box-leaved barberry 'Nana' also has leathery, rounded, dark green leaves with a red edge. In a sunny to semi-shady location, it usually reaches a height of approx. 50 cm and is approx. 80 cm wide. The Box-leaved barberry 'Nana' makes no special demands on the soil.
