Description
The Barberry 'Superba' (Berberis ottawensis) is a loose, overhanging shrub with decorative, light red, elongated fruits that stay on for a very long time. These are small. It produces yellow-red flowers arranged in umbels from May to June. The Barberry 'Superba' also bears roundish, dark red leaves. In a sunny to semi-shady location, it usually reaches a height of around 4 metres and is around 4 metres wide. The Barberry 'Superba' makes no special demands on the soil.
