Description
The Japanese barberry 'Golden Torch'® (Berberis thunbergii) is a dense, overhanging, branched, upright shrub with decorative, red fruits that stay on for a very long time. It produces yellow flowers in May. The Japanese barberry 'Golden Torch'® also has egg-shaped, golden-yellow leaves. In a sunny to semi-shady location with well-drained, humus-rich, acidic soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 1 m and grows to a width of approx. 50 cm.
