Description
The Japanese barberry 'Orange Rocket'® (Berberis thunbergii) is a dense, overhanging, branched, upright, compact shrub or small bush with decorative, coral-red fruits that stay on for a very long time. It produces yellow flowers in May. The Japanese barberry 'Orange Rocket'® also has egg-shaped, medium green leaves with red markings. In a sunny to semi-shady location with well-drained, humus-rich, acidic soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 1.5 m and grows to a width of approx. 60 cm.
