Description
The Japanese barberry 'Rosy Rocket' (Berberis thunbergii) is a dense, overhanging, branched shrub with decorative, coral-red fruits that stay on for a very long time. It produces yellow flowers in May. In addition, the Japanese barberry 'Rosy Rocket', egg-shaped, medium green, variegated, pink and white leaves. In a sunny to semi-shady location with well-drained, humus-rich, acidic soil, it usually reaches a height of around 3 metres and grows to around 1 metre wide.
