Description
The Japanese barberry 'Tiny Gold' (Berberis thunbergii) is a dense, overhanging, branched, compact shrub or small bush with decorative fruits that stay on for a very long time. It produces light yellow flowers in May. The Japanese barberry 'Tiny Gold' also has egg-shaped, golden-yellow leaves. In a sunny to semi-shady location with well-drained, humus-rich, acidic soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 30 cm and is approx. 60 cm wide.
