Description
The Japanese barberry 'Yellow Tower' (Berberis thunbergii) is an upright, slender small shrub with decorative, coral-red fruits that remain on the plant for a very long time. Before these appear, it produces yellow flowers in May. The Japanese barberry 'Yellow Tower' also has oval, yellow leaves. In a sunny to semi-shaded position with well-drained, humus-rich, acidic soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 90 cm and spreads to approx. 40 cm.
