Description
The Valdivian-Berberitze (Berberis valdiviana) is an upright garden plant with decorative, purple-black fruits. It produces yellow flowers arranged in hanging panicles from early April to May. The Valdivian-Berberitze also has shiny, broadly lanceolate, dark green leaves. In a sunny to semi-shady location with well-drained soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 4 metres and grows to a width of approx. 4 metres.
