The Erman's birch 'Holland' (Betula ermanii) is a broad, open, upright tree that produces greenish-yellow flowers arranged in catkins. These appear in April. In addition, the Erman's birch 'Holland' bears heart-shaped, ovate, medium-green leaves with dark green markings. Its bark is creamy white and peels off in strips. In a sunny position, it usually reaches a height of approx. 18 m and spreads to approx. 8 m. Erman's birch 'Holland' has no particular soil requirements.
