Description
These produce light brown fruits. The Black birch also bears shiny, egg-shaped, medium green leaves. Its bark is black-brown, rolling. In a sunny to semi-shady location with well-drained, nutrient-rich, moist to wet soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 20 metres and grows to a width of approx. 18 metres.
