Description
The Silver birch 'Golden Obelisk' (Betula pendula) is a slender, overhanging, picturesque large tree that produces greenish-yellow flowers arranged in catkins. They appear from March to April. The Silver birch 'Golden Obelisk' also has triangular, diamond-shaped, light green leaves with golden yellow markings. Its bark is white, rolling. In a sunny location, it usually reaches a height of around 30 metres and grows to a width of around 12 metres. The Silver birch 'Golden Obelisk' makes no special demands on the soil.
