Description
The Silver birch 'Karaca' (Betula pendula) is a slender, overhanging, picturesque large tree that produces greenish-yellow flowers arranged in catkins. They appear from March to April. The Silver birch 'Karaca' also has triangular, diamond-shaped, light green leaves. Its bark is white, rolling. In a sunny location, it usually reaches a height of around 30 metres and is around 12 metres wide. The Silver birch 'Karaca' makes no special demands on the soil.
