Description
The Silver birch 'Royal Frost' (Betula pendula) is a pyramidal, deciduous small tree with decorative, shiny, triangular, diamond-shaped, dark red leaves. It also bears greenish-yellow flowers arranged in catkins from March to April. These produce light brown fruits. In a sunny location, it usually reaches a height of around 12 metres and grows to a width of around 10 metres. The Silver birch 'Royal Frost' makes no particular demands on the soil.
