Description
The Silver birch 'Youngii' (Betula pendula) is an umbrella-shaped small tree that produces greenish-yellow flowers arranged in catkins. They appear from March to April. These produce light brown fruits. The Silver birch 'Youngii' also has triangular, medium green leaves. Its bark is white, rolling. In a sunny location, it usually reaches a height of approx. 8 metres and grows to a width of approx. 8 metres. The Silver birch 'Youngii' makes no special demands on the soil.
