Description
The Double tooth (Bidens) is a popular plant for the balcony. It prefers a sunny location and a well-drained substrate.

Growth
Bidens can reach a height of 40 - 60 cm.

Water
Water regularly and allow the soil to dry out in the meantime.

Location
Preferred location in a sunny position.

Soil
Well-drained, humusy, nutrient-rich substrate preferred. Commercially available container plant soil.

Planting time
Planting: After the last frosts.

Care
- Regular watering in summer is particularly important. Morning or evening is the best time for this. Watering should also be done slowly and, if possible, not over flowers and leaves. - Many bedding and balcony plants have high to very high nutrient requirements. For this reason, slow-release fertiliser should be mixed into the potting soil when planting. After 4-6 weeks, liquid fertiliser should be added regularly.
