Description
With its green leaf colouring, Common quaking grass (Briza media) is a decorative design element in the garden, which also stands out with its loose, clump-forming growth. The brown flower spikes adorn this grass from summer onwards. It feels most at home in a sunny to semi-shady location with sandy, well-drained soil. In favourable conditions, this hardy grass reaches a height of approx. 20 cm and grows up to 20 cm wide.
