Description
The Butterfly bush 'Wine' (Buddleja davidii) is a compact small shrub that produces velvety red flowers arranged in panicles with a strong fragrance. They appear from June to October. The Butterfly bush 'Wine' also has lanceolate, dark green leaves. Its bark is grey. In a sunny location with well-drained, nutrient-rich soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 1.5 metres and grows to a width of approx. 1.5 metres.
